Today marks an exciting milestone for our community and the future of scholastic esports.

We’re thrilled to share that Generation Esports is joining PlayVS. By bringing together two of the most trusted names in scholastic esports, we are building a stronger, more unified foundation for scholastic esports that will better support students, educators, and communities across the U.S. and Canada.

This collaboration opens the door to expanded opportunities in scholastic esports:

• Expanded access – Schools and students will have access to the most popular and widely played titles and greater competition with the network of thousands of PlayVS schools– at no competition cost.

• Greater recognition – From new tournaments to enhanced access to state, regional, and national championships, we’re elevating the competitive experience for every student gamer and providing more opportunities for them to shine.

• Pathway from Middle School to College – With PlayVS also acquiring Playfly College Esports, the largest collegiate gaming network, we’re uniting he full education-based gaming ecosystem, creating a powerful and continuous pathway that supports students throughout their academic journey.

• Continued curriculum innovation – Our award-winning Gaming Concepts curriculum and Blueprint platform will continue to help schools harness esports to drive student engagement, digital citizenship, and career readiness.
